Product features
1.Wide temperature range stable operation guarantee: The product has undergone strict thermal design verification, ensuring stable performance from the extremely cold winter at -10°C to the extremely hot summer at +40°C. Key components are selected from products with wide temperature ranges, and the box body uses special insulation materials and a ventilation cooling system to effectively cope with a solar radiation heat load of 1000W/m², preventing excessive internal temperature from affecting the equipment lifespan.
2.Strengthening structure to withstand extreme weather: The box structure is made of high-strength frames and weather-resistant steel plates. After calculation, it can withstand a wind pressure load of 35m/s (equivalent to a typhoon of level 12). The special design of the top cover can effectively drain rainwater and resist the additional load caused by 20mm of ice accumulation. All door gaps and interface areas are treated with multi-layer sealing, with a protection level of above IP54, ensuring the safe operation of internal equipment in a humid and rainy environment.
3.Verification in high-altitude and high-humidity environments: The electrical insulation design fully takes into account the impact of thin air at an altitude of 1000 meters, leaving sufficient safety margin. For the humid environment, an automatic temperature and humidity control system is equipped inside the box. When the humidity exceeds the set value, the heating dehumidification device will automatically start, ensuring that under harsh conditions with an average monthly relative humidity of ≤90% and an average daily humidity of ≤95%, no condensation occurs on the internal components, and the insulation performance remains reliable at all times.
4.Seismic design and safety redundancy: The overall structure is designed in accordance with the 8-degree seismic resistance requirements. Flexible connections and vibration reduction measures are adopted to ensure that the main equipment is not structurally damaged during an earthquake, and to maximize the continuity of power supply. This feature makes it particularly suitable for power grid construction in areas prone to earthquakes.

Is this 35kV prefabricated substation suitable for mining projects?
Yes. This prefabricated substation can be configured for **35kV mining and heavy industrial power distribution systems**. Typical applications include: * Open-pit mines * Mineral processing plants * Crushing and screening systems * Mine pumping stations * Conveyor systems * Industrial substations * Remote mining sites The final configuration should be selected according to the mine's load profile, environmental conditions, and electrical system design.
What equipment can be integrated inside the substation?
A typical 35kV mining prefabricated substation can integrate: * 35kV medium-voltage switchgear * Power or distribution transformer * Low-voltage switchgear * Protection relays * Metering equipment * Control system * Auxiliary power supply * Communication equipment * Temperature and condition monitoring devices The internal configuration can be customized according to the project single-line diagram.
Is this substation actually explosion-proof?
The explosion-protection configuration depends on the specific project requirements and applicable standards. For mines or industrial sites with combustible gas, dust, or classified hazardous areas, the required **explosion-protection level, hazardous-area classification, equipment certification, and applicable standard** must be confirmed before design. Please provide the hazardous-area requirements during technical review so that we can determine the appropriate configuration.
How is the substation protected against dust, moisture, and harsh mining environments?
Mining environments often involve heavy dust, moisture, vibration, pollution, and large temperature variations. Depending on the project requirements, the substation can be designed with: * Enhanced enclosure sealing * Higher enclosure protection levels * Dust-resistant ventilation design * Moisture-resistant treatment * Corrosion-resistant coatings * Protected cable entry points * Reinforced structural components The final protection design should be based on the actual mine site conditions.
Can the substation withstand corrosive or high-pollution environments?
Yes, corrosion protection can be enhanced according to the site conditions. For mining areas with high dust, chemical pollution, humidity, or corrosive atmospheres, the enclosure material, coating system, fasteners, ventilation structure, and exposed metal components can be selected accordingly. Please provide the corrosion category or environmental specification if available.
Can this substation supply crushers, conveyors, pumps, and other large mining loads?
Yes, but large motors and high-inrush-current equipment must be considered during system design. For mining projects, please provide information such as: * Motor power * Starting method * Starting current * Simultaneous operating load * Maximum demand * Load fluctuation * Future expansion This information helps determine transformer capacity, switchgear ratings, busbar size, and protection settings.
How is heat dissipation handled in a high-protection enclosure?
Heat dissipation must be carefully designed because a higher enclosure protection level can reduce natural airflow. The cooling and ventilation design is determined according to: * Transformer losses * Internal equipment heat generation * Ambient temperature * Enclosure size * Required protection level * Operating load Natural ventilation, filtered ventilation, forced ventilation, or other cooling measures can be considered according to the project conditions.
