Product features
This series of transformers takes safety and reliability as the core design principles, integrating high-performance insulating materials, sophisticated coil structures and advanced manufacturing processes. It can stably operate in complex and harsh working environments, and is widely trusted in fields with high safety and stability requirements. The following is a detailed elaboration on its excellent safety performance and high reliability:
1.Good Safety Performance: The transformer adopts high-quality environmentally friendly insulating materials, which are carefully selected and strictly tested to ensure that the content of combustible components is minimized. These insulating materials have multiple safety characteristics such as non-toxicity, self-extinguishing, flame retardancy and fire resistance, fully complying with international environmental protection and safety standards. In the event of accidental open fire combustion, the insulating materials will not release toxic or harmful gases, and the smoke production is almost negligible, effectively avoiding secondary hazards such as air pollution and personnel poisoning caused by smoke and toxic gases.
2.This outstanding safety performance makes the transformer particularly suitable for key areas with high fire protection requirements and large load demands. Typical application scenarios include high-rise buildings, where the dense population and complex pipeline layout put forward strict requirements on fire safety; airports and subways, which are important transportation hubs with large passenger flow and high reliability requirements; metallurgy and petrochemical industries, where the working environment is harsh and flammable and explosive substances are present, requiring equipment to have excellent flame retardancy and explosion-proof performance; as well as large shopping malls, hospitals and other public places with high pedestrian flow and high fire safety standards. In these scenarios, the transformer can effectively reduce fire risks and ensure the safety of personnel and property.
3.The core manufacturing process adopts vacuum pressure-impregnation technology. The windings are subjected to strict vacuum pressure-impregnation and curing treatment, which ensures that the insulating material can fully penetrate into every gap of the winding, eliminating air bubbles and moisture in the insulation layer. This not only improves the insulation strength of the winding, but also enhances the bonding force between the conductor and the insulating material, forming a solid integral structure. In addition, the coil compression adopts a pressure block structure, which applies uniform pressure to the coil, ensuring that the winding remains compact and stable during long-term operation, and avoiding insulation degradation caused by coil loosening.
4.Thanks to the above structural design and manufacturing process, the transformer has an extremely low partial discharge level (stably controlled below 5pC), which can effectively reduce insulation aging caused by partial discharge and prolong the service life of the equipment. During the entire service cycle, the transformer has no risks of cracking, insulation degradation or other common faults, and can maintain stable and reliable operation even under long-term full-load or intermittent operation conditions, reducing the frequency of maintenance and downtime and ensuring the continuous and stable operation of the power supply system

What insulation class is used for the SG(B)13 dry-type transformer?
The SG(B)13 non-encapsulated dry-type transformer typically uses a Class H insulation system. Its windings are manufactured using the Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) process, which helps improve insulation strength and operational reliability. According to the standard product configuration, the insulation system temperature is 180°C, the reference temperature is 145°C, and the winding temperature rise is 125K.
What is an SG(B)13 non-encapsulated dry-type transformer?
The SG(B)13 is a non-encapsulated dry-type transformer designed with an open-ventilated structure. Its windings are treated using the Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) process to improve insulation reliability and mechanical strength. It is typically designed with Class H insulation and is suitable for power distribution applications where dry-type transformer construction is preferred.
What information is required to select the correct SG(B)13 transformer?
To select the appropriate transformer, please provide the required rated capacity in kVA, primary voltage, secondary voltage, frequency, vector group, installation environment and load type. If available, you can also send your technical specification, single-line diagram or project requirements for engineering review.
What cooling methods are available for the SG(B)13 dry-type transformer?
SG(B)13 dry-type transformers can be designed for natural air cooling according to the project requirements. Forced-air cooling solutions may also be considered when additional cooling or short-term load capacity is required. The final cooling configuration should be confirmed according to transformer capacity, installation conditions and project specifications.
Can the voltage and capacity of the SG(B)13 transformer be customized?
Yes. The rated capacity, primary and secondary voltage, tap range, connection group, enclosure configuration and other technical parameters can be selected according to the project requirements. Send us your required kVA, input voltage, output voltage and application, and our engineering team can review the required configuration before quotation.
Where can SG(B)13 non-encapsulated dry-type transformers be used?
SG(B)13 transformers can be used in power distribution systems for industrial facilities, commercial buildings and other projects requiring dry-type transformer solutions. Because installation conditions can significantly affect transformer selection, factors such as ventilation, ambient temperature, altitude, protection requirements and available installation space should be confirmed before finalizing the transformer design.
