Product features
Fully sealed and maintenance-free design.
The transformer adopts a fully sealed structure design, with the oil tank completely isolated from the outside air. The insulating oil will not oxidize or deteriorate due to contact with air, nor will it absorb moisture from the air. This effectively avoids problems of insulation aging and deterioration of the oil quality. Compared with traditional non-sealed transformers, there is no need for regular oil replenishment or oil replacement maintenance work, significantly reducing the workload and cost of operation and maintenance. At the same time, the fully sealed design can prevent dust, impurities, etc. from entering the transformer interior, reducing the wear and corrosion of internal components.
Intelligent monitoring and early warning function
Transformers are generally equipped with intelligent monitoring systems, which can monitor key operating parameters such as oil temperature, winding temperature, oil level, insulation status, and load current of the transformer in real time. The monitoring data is transmitted to the background monitoring center through wireless communication modules, allowing staff to remotely and in real time grasp the operating status of the transformer. When the monitoring parameters exceed the set thresholds, the system will automatically issue audible and visual alarms and promptly push warning information to relevant personnel, facilitating the early detection of potential fault hazards and preventing the expansion of faults.
Low-noise green operation
The transformer achieves low-noise operation by optimizing the core structure, using shock-absorbing materials and implementing a fully sealed design. Its no-load noise level is ≤ 45 dB(A), and the load noise level is ≤ 55 dB(A), which is 10-15 dB(A) lower than that of traditional transformers and meets the noise requirements of national environmental protection standards. The core adopts a fully inclined joint stacking process, reducing the noise generated by magnetic expansion; the coil winding is tightly arranged, lowering the electromagnetic vibration noise; rubber shock-absorbing pads are installed at the bottom of the oil tank and the bottom bracket to effectively absorb the vibrations generated during operation and reduce noise transmission. The low-noise design enables the S13 transformer to be directly installed in areas with noise sensitivity such as residential communities and commercial centers, enhancing the comfort of the power environment and contributing to the construction of a green city.

FAQ
Find answers to common questions about the S22-M 1600kVA 10kV/0.4kV fully sealed oil-immersed transformer, including capacity selection, sealing structure, tap adjustment, impedance, testing and customization.
learn more
What is the rated capacity and voltage of this S22-M transformer?
This model has a rated capacity of **1600kVA**, with a typical voltage configuration of **10kV on the high-voltage side and 0.4kV on the low-voltage side**. The final voltage configuration should be confirmed according to the local distribution system and project requirements.
What does “fully sealed” mean for an oil-immersed transformer?
A fully sealed transformer is designed to minimize direct contact between the transformer oil and outside air. The sealed tank structure helps reduce moisture ingress and oil oxidation, supporting stable insulation performance and reducing routine oil-related maintenance requirements.
Is a 1600kVA transformer suitable for my project?
It depends on the actual electrical load. Transformer selection should consider: * Total connected load * Maximum demand * Load factor * Motor starting current * Future expansion * Power factor * Operating conditions If you provide your load list or single-line diagram, we can help review whether **1600kVA** is appropriate.
What tap range is available for this transformer?
The tap range can be designed according to the project requirements. For an off-circuit tap-changing design, the tap position must be adjusted while the transformer is completely de-energized. If the project requires on-load voltage regulation, this should be specified separately during technical confirmation.
What vector group can be provided?
The vector group can be selected according to the electrical system design. Common configurations such as **Dyn11** may be available, but the final vector group should be confirmed based on system grounding, load characteristics, protection coordination, and the project specification.
What short-circuit impedance is available for the 1600kVA transformer?
The short-circuit impedance is determined according to transformer capacity and system requirements. This parameter affects: * Short-circuit current * Voltage regulation * Protection coordination * Parallel operation If your project specifies an impedance value, please include it in the RFQ or technical datasheet.
Is this transformer suitable for outdoor installation?
Yes. Fully sealed oil-immersed transformers are commonly used in outdoor power distribution systems. However, the actual site conditions should be confirmed, including: * Ambient temperature * Altitude * Humidity * Pollution level * Wind conditions * Installation environment Special environmental conditions should be provided before final design.
