Product application
Application of High Magnetic Flux Oriented Silicon Steel Sheets
The core magnetic path of the transformer is made of high magnetic permeability oriented silicon steel sheets. Compared with traditional silicon steel sheets, its magnetic permeability is increased by more than 15%, and the iron loss value is reduced by 20% to 30%. This material is processed through a special grain orientation optimization process, which makes the magnetic domains more orderly, effectively reducing the hysteresis loss and eddy current loss during the alternating magnetic field process.
Selection of environmental-friendly insulating materials
The transformer is equipped with environmentally friendly insulating oil and insulating paper. The insulating oil is made of natural esters or synthetic esters, which are environmentally friendly. Compared to traditional mineral insulating oil, it is biodegradable and will not cause pollution to the soil or water sources if it leaks, thus conforming to the concept of green power development.
High-strength metal structural components
The structural components such as transformer oil tanks and clamps are made of high-strength cold-rolled steel plates. They are formed through CNC stamping and welding. The yield strength of the material reaches over 345 MPa. Compared with ordinary steel plates, the anti-deformation ability has been enhanced by 40%, effectively resisting external force impacts during transportation and installation.
Full inclined joint stacking process of the core
The transformer core adopts the full inclined joint stacking process. Compared with the traditional direct joint process, the magnetic resistance at the joint is reduced by more than 60%, effectively reducing the leakage magnetic loss and noise at the joint. During the stacking process, a special positioning tool is used to ensure the flatness and verticality of the core laminations, and the gap between the laminations is controlled within 0.05mm, ensuring uniform magnetic permeability of the core.

learn more
What is the rated capacity and voltage level of this transformer?
This S22-M oil-immersed transformer has a rated capacity of **2500kVA** and is designed for **35kV-class power systems**. The exact primary and secondary voltage combination should be confirmed according to the project electrical system, load requirements, and single-line diagram.
Is a 2500kVA transformer suitable for my industrial project?
Whether 2500kVA is suitable depends on the actual load conditions. Transformer sizing should consider: * Total connected load * Maximum demand * Load factor * Motor starting current * Power factor * Future capacity expansion * Continuous and intermittent loads If you provide your load list or single-line diagram, we can help review whether **2500kVA** is the appropriate capacity.
What secondary voltage can be supplied with a 35kV transformer?
The secondary voltage can be designed according to the project requirements. Different industrial and distribution systems may require different output voltages. Please provide the required **35kV primary voltage and secondary system voltage** when requesting a quotation so that the transformer can be correctly configured.
What tap-changing method is available for this transformer?
The tap-changing method depends on the transformer design and project requirements. An **off-circuit tap changer** can be used where voltage adjustment is only required while the transformer is de-energized. If the project requires voltage regulation during operation, an **on-load tap changer (OLTC)** should be specified separately during technical confirmation.
What vector group can be provided?
The vector group can be selected according to the electrical system design. The final connection group should be confirmed based on: * System grounding * Load characteristics * Harmonic conditions * Protection coordination * Parallel operation requirements Please provide the required vector group in your datasheet or single-line diagram.
What short-circuit impedance can be provided for a 2500kVA transformer?
The short-circuit impedance is designed according to transformer capacity and project requirements. It directly affects: * Short-circuit current * Voltage drop * Protection settings * Parallel operation * System stability If your project specifies a particular impedance value, please include it in the RFQ for technical review.
Is the transformer suitable for outdoor industrial installation?
Yes. Oil-immersed transformers of this type are commonly used in outdoor industrial substations, factories, mining projects, power distribution systems, and infrastructure projects. Before final design, the following site conditions should be confirmed: * Ambient temperature * Altitude * Relative humidity * Pollution level * Wind conditions * Seismic requirements * Installation environment Special operating conditions should be provided during the technical review.
